Google Wi-Fi – Review on Product

People who have wireless connections at their homes or offices are not new to router problems. But while we often end up blaming the router for weak or no connection, the wireless receivers of our devices are also equally responsible. With most wireless routers aiming to deliver the fastest possible Wi-Fi speed, Google Wi-Fi is here to do something different.

The Google Wi-Fi belongs to the new breed of routers which are called “mesh router systems”. Rather than focusing on providing the fastest Wi-Fi signal from one location like other routers, Google Wi-Fi fills the area with consistent Wi-Fi speed and quality by broadcasting the signal from many different locations.

The Google Wi-Fi is a 2 node system, which means that the package would include two Wi-Fi points. While the Wi-Fi from Google was one of the first mesh routers on the market, there are now several other options there are 3, 4, and even 5 node systems. However, while these systems do deliver consistent wireless network, most of these systems are pretty complex.

On the other hand, one of the most important benefits of Google Wi-Fi is its simple setup. It comes with an intuitive mobile app for setup and most users agree that it is highly reliable. Reasonably priced, it is definitely not the fastest router available on the market but its ease of use and simplicity make it one-of-a-kind.
