Fujifilm FinePix XP 130 Review

The newly launched Fujifilm FinePix XP130 is an upgraded version of XP120. Apart from a host of other improvements, two major improvements in this new version are better battery life and Bluetooth. The camera comes with a 5x optical zoom lens and is waterproof up to 20 meters. It also features a 16MP sensor, Full HD recording, and 3-inch display.

The camera just like its predecessor has built-in Wi-Fi and is compatible with the Remote Shooting app of Fujifilm. It also supports Instax printing to enables you to instantly take print outs of your pictures. The camera allows you to capture Full HD videos at 30 or 60 fps and optical zoom can now be used when recording videos. It features a built-in microphone to record the audio. The camera comes with many different shooting modes, like Auto, Scene Recognition Auto, Underwater screen mode, Motion Panorama 360, HDR, and many other effects and filters.

While manual controls are something that the camera lacks, the wide range of modes definitely makes up for this missing feature. The Fujifilm FinePix XP130 is one of the few waterproof cameras available in the market. Brands like Nikon, Olympus, and Ricoh do have their waterproof cameras but most of them are more expensive than this latest offering from Fujifilm.
